Add bank accounts with opening balances for existing companies

Add New Bank Account
Enter bank details and opening balance. The system will automatically create the necessary journal entries.

Select your primary currency

Enter the current balance of this account (if migrating from existing system)

The date when this opening balance is effective

Automatic Journal Entry

When you save a bank with an opening balance, the system will automatically create a POSTED journal entry:

  • Debit: Bank Account (0.00)
  • Credit: Opening Balance Equity (0.00)
